When you’re floating out on the middle of an exotic body of water for extended periods of time, limited space can give vacationers cabin fever.
Claustrophobics breathe a little easier by choosing the ‘Transformer of the Sea’ for their yachting experience. Once deployed, the 42-foot yacht can expand to 193.5 square feet and a width of 21.5 feet, dimensions once thought impossible for a boat this length.
Designer Tilli Antonelli is at the helm of the transformable cockpit. Due to its ability to expand, the yacht is speedy and still carries an accommodating surface area.
Using techniques also employed in aerospace and Formula 1 racing, the boat was built with new vacuum infusion molding techniques for carbon, making the Wider Yacht lightweight.
The Wider Yacht is on the market for $1.12 million.
