The Popularity of Pershing

Pershing is a Ferretti S.p.A. brand that has been making quite a splash in the Chinese markets. The Italian shipyard did not disappoint at a recent awards ceremony in Shanghai, hosted by The Huran Report, where they received the award for “Best Luxury Performance Yacht 2009.”
The Huran Report is a Chinese publication devoted to the financial world and profiling the way the Chinese elite spend their money and live a life of luxury. The “Best of the Best” award was based on a 2008 survey of 345 Chinese millionaires; 131 have personal wealth totaling more than 10 million US dollars.
The Chairman and Founder of Pershing, Tilli Antonelli expressed pride in winning the coveted award, “If you consider that we’ve been operating on the Chinese market since 2004, the strength and prestige acquired by the Pershing brand in such a short time are excellent signals of how Asian markets are now ready to welcome innovative products featuring extremely high quality.”
The award comes right on time for Pershing, as it coincides with the first Pershing 50-foot yacht to arrive in Hong Kong.
