Prince’s Megayacht Fit for Royalty
By Kris A. Moore

Longtime yacht maker Bill Prince has just revealed his newest 60-meter megayacht. This boat was created to have the look and feel of the super-luxe megayachts, but with a smaller size that allows for docking at traditional marinas. One feature that sets this yacht apart from others in its category is the large glass wall featured on the side of the ship. From inside the yacht, owners can view panoramic vistas while in the dining room and saloon. The windows are cut into geometric designs and a similar pattern can be seen on the hardtop that hangs over the Jacuzzi and the lounge area on the sundeck.
The sheerline/bulwark is finished in a matte aluminum and a similar effect can be achieved by using a clear coat over the aluminum or by metallic paint that would mimic the look of aluminum, although the first option is more difficult to maintain. The yacht is available in two different colors and also features two fold-down platforms that can be used as a diving board or extra relaxation space. The intended relaxation areas on the yacht are referred to as “resort spaces” by the designer. These are versatile areas that are suited for day and night use. A main feature of this space is the automated floor that allows the owner to turn the pool area into additional deck space with the push of a button.
