Croatia’s First Megayacht Marina

Island Global Yachting, the world’s premier marina and yacht club brand, just unveiled Croatia’s first megayacht marina, which will become a yachting lifestyle destination. The Mandalina Marina & Yacht Club is situated in the coastal town of Sibenik on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. Chosen as the “world’s No. 1 sailing destination” by National Geographic magazine, the site is noted especially for its UNESCO protected cathedral and two national parks—the waterfalls of Krka and the Kornati Archipelago. Sibenik is one of the oldest native Croatian towns and is noted as a center of culture and art. When the recent modifications to the marina, Sibekik is destined to become the region’s premier gateway for megayachts, as it offers convenient access to the more than 300 scenic islands on the Adriatic, as well as presenting an outstanding hub from which to cruise the eastern coast of Italy and the eastern Mediterranean.
The Mandalina Marina & Yacht Club features 350 in-water slips and 50 dry-dock berths for accommodating vessels up to 280 feet. The NCP shipyard provides 24-hour technical assistance including repairs and refits for yachts up to 280 feet. NCP Charter has more than 60 vessels available, while NCP Sailing School can help educate novice and expert sailors alike. In addition to 24-hour security, the marina provides on-site fueling and grocery, portable water and electricity, WiFi and telephone connectivity in-slip, and first-class restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.
