The 162.5-meter Eclipse currently holds the title for the world’s largest yacht, but that may not be the case for much longer.
A glimpse of Lürssen’s 180-meter superyacht was seen outside its shipyard in Bremen, and she’s been shrouded in secrecy. Her name is rumored to be Project Azzam, and her sleek profile was designed by a famous company, although it’s unclear so far as to which.
Project Azzam’s four intriguing stern tunnels suggest that she may be quite fast. Now, the hull is going to be moved into the floating drydock, where her bow section will be added. The superyacht should be launched by next year.
