Vicem Yachts, the famed luxury Turkish classic motor yacht and mega-yacht builders who are considered to be the makers of “The Yacht for Yachtsmen”, are delighted to name Sarasota Yacht and Ship of Sarasota, Florida as their Official Distributor for the Americas. The distribution area covers Canada, the Caribbean, North, South, and Central America.
Sarasota Yacht & Ship enjoys a well-deserved good reputation in the U.S. yachting industry and has been in business for 26 years. SYS is also one of the only companies to receive the Certified Professional Yacht Broker program endorsement. The company sells new and previously owned yachts both in the USA and internationally, and boasts of having offices in three locations in Sarasota including the famed Marina Jack. SYS furthermore participates in numerous large boat shows throughout the world on a regular basis.
Replacing Dave Malloch will be Senior Partner with Sarasota Yacht & Ship Gary Smith. All team members at Vicem wish to thank Dave for his time at Vicem in which he provided incredible competency, passion, and strategic support in all aspects of his work.

Smith is the current Vice-President of the Board of Directors for the Florida Yacht Brokers Association which is in Florida’s Fort Lauderdale. Along with his vice-presidential duties with the FYBA, he also chairs many of the organization’s committees.
