Late tech legend Steve Jobs was creating his own Feadship super yacht at the time of his death.
According to Walter Isaacson’s new biography of Jobs, Jobs didn’t like the standard yacht designs, so he designed it himself and created a super luxurious yacht to rival that of good friend and fellow yacht enthusiast Larry Ellison.
The Netherlands-based yacht builder Feadship said, “Sometimes, word gets out about one of our yachts. We often build for captains of industry, royalty and other leading individuals. Understandably, our clients value their privacy greatly and consequently we never discuss our owners’ identity. We choose not to comment.”
The yacht will be featured on Feadship’s recent Breathe concept, which was showcased at the Monaco Boat Show 2010.
