If Darth Vader were to customize a yacht, it would probably look eerily similar to London-based art dealer and writer Kenny Schachter’s newest vessel, the “Z-Boat” built by Zaha Hadid.
The eight-meter super yacht is made of fiberglass and carbon fiber and boasts a dynamic design, befitting the art dealer as he’s shelling them out for €375,000 a pop. What’s more, this is only one vessel in the limited edition line of 12 being built by Zaha Hadid. Blueprints indicate that the boat can be produced in a variety of colors, including white and blue, but the default black prototype designed for Schachter will probably be the crowd favorite.
Schachter described the design symmetry of his future boat as creating a “menacing presence.”
Hadid became the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize in Architecture in 2004, and she’s been named to Forbes’ “100 Most Powerful Women” list and Time’s “100 Most Influential People” list.
